Due to expansion Halifax Wedding Cars have the following job opportunities.
Chauffeurs
Part Time - Weekdays, Evenings and Weekend Chauffeurs required.
Must be smart (and own, or prepared to buy a Chauffeurs uniform), polite and courteous.
Experience preferred but training available.
A Brides nerves can be a little frayed on their big day so a good personality, able to cope well under stress, and a soothing tone is essential.
Over 25's only due to Insurance requirements with a clean licence (under 6 points).
Must have own transport, mobile phone and live within 10 miles of HX2.
Non Smokers preferred. However, we shall consider smokers but be advised that our premises and cars are smoke free zones and we do not permit our Chauffeurs to smoke in public on duty near the cars at a wedding.
Mechanic
Casual / part time hours to suit.
Would suit an apprentice, a full time worker requiring some extra work or a retired person. (Male or Female)
Experiene in old carburation type engines from the 70/80's preferred (Ford, Jaguar and Nissan)
Handy Man
To do odd jobs from time to time. Must be a jack of all trades with common sense! Strictly an adhoc/casual basis.
Car Washer
As the name suggests. To wash, clean and prepare our highly sought after and beautiful cars ready for Weddings and other occassions.
Must have common sense with a caring and conscientious attitude.
Must be able to understand the difference between cleaning a modern highly lacquered car compared to our classics where the paint and body of the cars is very delicate and requires due respect.
Part time / casual - Hours would usually be Fridays and/or Saturdays.
Suit a student, retired or anyone else with the right attitude and care.
